Preparing novel for Amazon.Should be ready for purchase tomorrow. Plan to post novel cover and offer teaser for the 2nd in the series tomorrow.
Ingredients for uploading to Amazon:( pre-champagne toast):
One computer with 21-inch screen, two laptops, an iPad, router, numerous cables, three mugs of coffee, and a Cosco-sized box of Goldfish covered the dining room table this Saturday. Began at 10 o’clock in the morning and uploaded at 3 o’clock! My computer engineer son spent five hours correcting coding and paragraph tags and other techno-mumbo jumbo beyond my understanding.
Me:”I didn’t know Word could do that!”
Son ( heavy sigh): “Yeah, Mom.”
Couldn’t have done it without him. Thank you, first born.
Amazon KDP takes up to 12 hours to verify. Technology is amazing.
I have been fortunate to have so much excellent help with my foray into the world of novels and publishing. Friends and family have offered valuable suggestions and provided contacts. Names of graphic designers. Names of self-published authors. Names of writing organizations. My friends, children, parents, and husband have read multiple versions and been a constant source of encouragement.
I write alone—but that’s only half the task. I am lucky to have the support and love behind me! Lucky to have people believe in my novel. Lucky to have them believe in me.
Thank you!
The 2nd in the series, The 1st draft of The Merkabah Deception is complete. Hard at work with re-writes!
